Lunar Sway — Post film Q&A with Cast and Crew

‘Lunar Sway’ is coming to Kamloops with a screening and a post-film Q&A with the cast and crew‼️

Cliff is struggling with his love life in a desert town when he unexpectedly connects with his estranged birth mother. After learning of his mom’s string of secrets, Cliff is led on a wild misadventure while also spending time with his love interest, Stew, a mysterious dentist.🏜️🦷

🎤Screening is followed by a Q & A with actors Liza Weil (Gilmore Girls, How to Get Away with Murder), Kaden Connors (Heated Rivalry) and writer/director Nick Butler.

Lunar Sway defies easy categorization. A black comedy, a queer coming-of-age, a domestic drama and a road movie all at once, the sophomore feature from writer and director Nick Butler eschews traditional narrative logic in favour of capturing mood and atmosphere. The result is a dreamy Western — or, perhaps more appropriately, anti-Western — that, with assured flare and bright colours, simultaneously charms and thrills. EXCLAIM!⭐
